Stan Bronson

Vice Chairman & Executive Director

Stan has been a Christian since he was 18 years old and has been very active in Churches of Christ since that time. While in the Coast Guard he helped establish the Mobile (Alabama) Church of Christ in 1972. In 1992 he became an elder at Palm Beach Lakes Church of Christ and then through a ministry of that congregation, began preaching for the Boca Raton church, continuing in that work for 14 years until the congregation disbanded and the property was sold. He now serves on the PFI board of directors and is Executive Director of the Fund. In the secular world, Stan is co-founder and Director of Partnerships for the Alliance for a Climate Resilient Earth (ACRE), which is an initiative of the Stimson Center, one of Washington DC’s pre-eminent think tanks.

Kevin Hyde

Chairman

Kevin is an elder at Lakeshore Church of Christ in Jacksonville, Florida and is on the Board of Trustees of Florida College in Tampa, Florida. Kevin is also chair of the Sloan Fund, a PFI grantee, which gives scholarships to deserving students who attend Florida College summer camps throughout the United States.  A partner and employment lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP, Kevin represents employers in a variety of human resources matters. His practice focuses on ongoing employment counseling and workplace safety, as well as representation of employers in numerous charges of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-hour, and management-union matters.

Timothy Welsh

Secretary & Treasurer

Tim was raised in the Boca Raton Church of Christ and currently lives in Altamonte Springs, Florida, where he is an elder at the Palm Springs Drive Church of Christ. Tim’s son Wayne is the preacher at Hawks Ridge Church of Christ in Duluth, Minnesota. Tim is employed by Lockheed-Martin in Orlando, Florida, where he is a Systems Engineer.
